Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Take Love to Italy—and Show What Romance Looks Like After the Cameras Leave

Selena Gomez did not spend her 34th birthday chasing the loudest party in Hollywood. She went to Italy with her husband, Benny Blanco, and allowed romance to become the main event.

The singer and actress shared photographs from a birthday getaway filled with yacht rides, sightseeing, quiet games of Scrabble and affectionate moments with Blanco. Their trip included stops in Florence, Bologna and Tuscany, where the couple participated in an Italian cooking class and spent time at the Ferragamo family’s Il Borro estate.

Love Was Served in the Kitchen: One of the most intimate moments from the trip did not happen aboard the yacht. It happened over food. Blanco shared footage of the couple preparing homemade pasta, cheese-stuffed squash blossoms and eggplant parmesan.

Gomez and Blanco began their romantic relationship in 2023 after knowing and working with each other for years. They announced their engagement in December 2024 and married during a private California ceremony on September 27, 2025.

At 34, she is balancing marriage, business, philanthropy, music and acting while appearing increasingly comfortable with a life that does not have to resemble anybody else’s timeline.
