Mary J. Blige Turns Her Life Story Into a Las Vegas Victory Lap

Mary J. Blige's first Las Vegas residency opened with enough force to earn 10 additional performances.
She made the struggle part of the music. She gave heartbreak a rhythm, survival a voice and grown women permission to admit that becoming stronger does not mean forgetting what hurt.
Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story opened on May 1, 2026, at Dolby Live inside Park MGM. The engagement marked the first Las Vegas residency of her career. Following what MGM Resorts described as a sold-out opening weekend, Blige added 10 more performances for August, September and October 2026.
The remaining performances are scheduled for August 28 and 29; September 2, 5 and 6; and October 23, 24, 28, 30 and 31.
My Life, My Story presents a career-spanning production supported by a live band, dancers and large-scale staging. The show includes records such as “Real Love,” “Family Affair,” “Be Without You” and “I’m Goin’ Down.”
The sold-out opening weekend included surprise appearances from The LOX, Method Man, Jadakiss and 50 Cent.
Mary enters this chapter with nine Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award, two Academy Award nominations and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024.
